The international recession that has seen Thailand's exports fall 25% in January, a drop in tourism - partly as a result of the PAD actions and partly as a result of the global downturn have added to the doom and gloom. The Rohingha debacle has caused Thailand to look foolish in the eyes of the world community and uncaring - just where are the Buddhist values?
